“How can we keep a faithful church without the word of God that is bread for the hungry soul.” – John Wycliffe

CP is a software developer by trade. He has been a Christian since 1983. He began telling stories in fifth grade and still remembers his classmates at story time calling out the tittles to stories he had told to have him step up to retell those stories again.
A deacon at Lakeview Church of Christ, Tacoma, WA, CP has been teaching from the bible since his teen years, and as he's grown in his faith, he's developed a compelling desire for depth and insight into the word of God. This has made him an unconventional bible scholar with a compulsion for depth and a knack for harnessing intimate truth, knowledge and wealth of understanding from God’s word. He is curious about Christian matters, strives to see the greater context of God’s plan and how that manifests God's goodness and grace.
CP desire to share with others the wisdom and practical applications found in God’s word as a Christian thinker, teacher, scholar and writer of biblical subjects and characters has grown since his teen years. Frequent feedback from CP's audience include “I can listen to you all day” to “you are an unconventional bible scholar”. CP's comfort and current predisposition is the joy he gets from sharing his insight with all kinds of people. But his most gratifying moments have come from the connections both young and older listeners make to stories in the bible they’ve read over and over again for many years as they hear him speak.
CP has studied Biblical Greek and Hebrew at the postgraduate level. He holds an M.Sc. Computer Science degree from Univ. of Washington Tacoma, and a B. Sc. Mathematics in addition to undergraduate studies in biological and physical sciences.
